Thèse d'exercice
Cassava is the most important crop in the farming systems of Southeastern Nigeria. Although cassava is frequently described as a susistence crop, it is also important in this region as a cash income source. Its cultivation is therefore increasing. This is mostly because in addition to its substancial contribution to subsistence, increasing market demand and high land productivity encourages its production.
